The question, as stated, cannot be answered sensibly. A cubic foot is a measure of volume, with dimensions [L3]. A linear foot is a measure of distance, with dimensions [L]. The two measure different things and elementary dimensional analysis teaches that you cannot convert between measures with different dimensions such as these without additional information.

"10 metres square" usually means an area 10 metres by 10 metres. This gives 100 square metres, and this is much bigger than 100 square feet.

However, even 10 square metres is a bit bigger than 100 square feet:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Square_metre#Conversions

gives one square metre as just over10.76 square feet, and so 10 square metres is just over 107.6 square feet.

Linear feet and feet are the same thing. So 100 linear feet and 100 feet are the same thing.

Also:

100 feet = 30.48 metres

100 feet = 16.67 fathoms

You multiply the width by the length to get the area. In this case the answer would be 5,000 square feet.
