24 and 3/4 inches is the scale length (distance from nut to bridge), not the overall length of a Gibson Flying V. I don't know the exact measurement, but it must be approximately 45 inches.

Suggest you call a Gibson dealer with one in stock and ask them to measure it.

Don't bother going to Gibson's web site because they don't list the overall length from tip of headstock to bottom tip of wings.
