As an any average mid size dog, shar peis live from 8 to 12 years. But with good care and proper diet they are known to live 15 years or longer.
I would say at least three weeks. Our Shar Pei has been bleeding now for 9 days and I think it will be a few more days before she is done.
"Pei" in "Shar-Pei" means skin in Cantonese.
