In the can, correctly sealed it is good indefinitely. It will require a very good shaking to re mix the components but you can use oil paint that is years old.

On interior walls, oil paint lasts years. It holds up well to fingerprints and cleaning and generally only needs to be replaced when yo are tired of the colour.

On exterior walls, or furniture you should get several years. Weather conditions, wear and tear, and sun exposure will effect the durability.

Oil paint is good until it starts to dry and has a film of dry paint on top. A good way to store oil paint is upside down, it must be mixed very well if it has been sitting for a long time.

How long does a glow in the dark paint last on canvas?

It depends on the paint used. "Luminous" paint will only last a short time because it will lose its chemical reactants (radioactive paints being unusual). "Phosphorescent" paint may absorb light energy, then release it again. This will last for a considerable time but not for any great numberof years, because it reacts with other chemicals as well.
