Young people today don't seem to get married that early and have children later in life as well. They usually want careers, do some traveling and have some fun first. There is really no time you can set, but personally, I wouldn't wait more than 2 years. As the old saying goes .... "If you don't want to buy the cow, you ain't getting the milk for free!" I've always gone for commitment.
