In the past, it was reccomended to let your treated deck "weather" for one year before staining it. Currently, there are some stains available that state you are able to apply it immediately. Personally, I would prefer to let it dry for awhile to ensure maximum absorbsion. Make sure to purchase a medium to high grade stain and follow the directions to a " T " for professional looking results.

You should follow the MFG recommendations, or wait until the wood is very dry.

If the wood has not dried, then the sealer or stain will not adhere to the surface and

will not penetrate where the sealer from the factory is weak.

Depends upon how warm it is, is there direct sunlight? You want to be be sure that the wood is really dry. I would wait several days; maybe 4-5 days.
