Different physicians recommend different amounts of time, but typically, one year after a vaginal delivery or two years after a C-Section delivery is recommended, especially if the woman is going to attempt to have the second baby vaginally (i.e., a VBAC). Recent research suggest a woman should have at least 18 months in between deliveries if she wants to have a vbac.

There is some research to suggest that 18 months between BIRTHS shows a lower uterine rupture rate. (That means you can get pregnant nine months after your cesarean) You may want to space your children a bit further apart than that however, for other reasons.

How long should you waite to have another baby after a C Section delivery?

It is a decision only and your doctor can make.

If you had a c section for a breech baby 5 yrs ago and ruptured tubular pregnancy 6 mos ago with history of endometriosis should you have vbac?

You may be allowed for vbac bcoz breech is not a absolute indication for section & also risk of progression of endometriosis is more with the section. But ultimately treatment plan should be judged based on the conditions prevailing at that time.

Can you give birth after having cesarean with your first baby?

Yes, you can have a vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC). If you have a supportive care provider your chances of having a successful VBAC are 2 in 3, the same as a first time mother's chances of having a vaginal birth. For more information about the risks of VBAC and risks of repeat cesarean check out ican-online.org.

Is it harder going ahead and doing VBAC?

It depends what you mean by hard. It might be hard to find a care provider that is truly supportive of VBAC, yes. But the recovery period from a VBAC is much easier for most women. Also the risks to your own body and to your baby are less from a VBAC. We are only beginning to understand the true risks to a child from being born surgically, you can google but some of those risks include lifelong increased risks of allergies, intestinal issues, even testicular cancer! I know, crazy right? Sometimes the things that maybe seem hard to do, are really worth it. It's hard to eat right and take care of yourself too, but we should all do that as well. Good luck and make sure you do your research!

What is the meaning of Caesarean?

A cesarean is major abdominal surgery by which a baby is removed from a woman's uterus through an incision in her abdomen. Usually the cut will be horizontal (low transverse) but sometimes it can be vertical (classical). Most women who are supported to try a VBAC after a cesarean are successful! Having one cesarean does not mean you have to have another one.

Is it OK for a married woman to call another married man baby?

When is it too late to adjust a breech baby and when would you expect baby to go into delivery position?

If this is your first baby, your baby should get in head down position around 36 or 37 weeks, sometimes sooner. It's too late probably when you're in active labor (4cm-complete). I had a breech baby born c-section 6 years ago. The c-section wasn't fun but was worth her safety. I have a VBAC 4 years ago. It doesn't exclude you from normal delivery now and forever.

What is one example of something where the benefits outweigh the risks?

An example of something where the benefits outweigh the risks is a VBAC, or vaginal birth after cesarean. Some benefits include not having to have another major surgery , better recovery time, and more bonding time with baby. The risk is a less than one percent chance of uterine rupture.
