How long should you wait to have sex?

Many people say you should wait to have sex until you are married. However in this day and age people are having sex at all different ages, with many different people, and for all the wrong reasons. Most of them do not care about the consequences of their actions when having multiple sex partners. Deciding to loose your virginity is a huge step in a persons life. When making the decision to engage in sex for the first time you should be 100% without a doubt absolutely positive that you are ready to take that step in your life and your relationship. Loosing your virginity should be with someone you love and respect and they love and respect you just as much. Many young people think they are in love when they loose their virginity to only find out that their partner they had chosen was not the one and many regret loosing it. Take your time in taking that step in your life there is no rush on becoming sexually active. Communicate with your partner express your feelings about taking that step in your relationship because sex can sometimes change a relationship some good some bad. Make sure you are making your decision on your feelings and beliefs not on what someone else feels or believes.Sex should not be taken lightly in any form. IF you decide that you are ready and have found the right person to be with no matter what please always take precautions to prevent things like unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases even if you are both virgins you can never be too careful. Don't go out looking for the right person to loose your virginity to, the right person will find you when it is the right time.
