If it's water base paint and your doors or windows are open while painting it dries quickly and you can sleep in the room the same evening. I am painting my bedroom and stop around dinner and have had the windows open and it's safe to sleep and I've done so. If it's oil base paint (enamel paint) it's generally strong in odor and although not hazardous to your health it can cause headaches in some people or sinus problems. I'd wait a good 24 hours. Meanwhile, when you use oil base paint put 1 teaspoon of vanilla flavoring in the oil paint and stir well. This helps cut down the strong odor. After 24 or even 48 hours of airing the room out during the day ONLY and not at night (for safeties sake) you can spray Febreeze in the room to kill any remaining odors or burn (safely) incense or perfumed candles.
A child that sleeps in a room that has just been painted will most likely get a headache.
~Natalie. You should not put your child in a room that has just been painted. It will cause a headache and if one paint drop lands in your child's mouth if its open, Then you don't know what to do. The best thing to do is to not put a child in a room with, Sharp things, Paint, Just painted walls and stuff, And Small items that they can choke on. You did a good thing posting this question
Nobody should be in a newly painted room (without proper aeration) until it has been fully aired and all vapours have gone. No because their lungs are sensetive and the paint smell is too much for their little noses.
If the semi-gloss was acrylic, latex or water based, you have been careful to keep the room well ventilated and you (or the person who will be sleeping there) does not have Allergies, then 8 - 12 hours is enough.
If the semi-gloss paint is oil, lacquer, alcohol or solvent based, the room has not been well ventilated, or you have a sensitivity/allergy to environmental pollutants, then I recommend you wait. There should be out-gassing information on the cans of paint, but often there are not, so check the company web-sites. Ask about out-gassing times, ingredients and toxicity. Each company and each type of paint is a bit different so be sure to be accurate when enquiring.
No the fumes could seriously harm the respiratory system of anyone. It will make you dizzy and sick feeling.
Once the paint has dried, it becomes non-toxic so allow the fumes to vent and dissipate by running a fan and opening a window and you shouldn't have any problem.
Wait at least 5 days to wash a fresh painted wall. It takes 3 days for it too fully dry.

So the paint will stick and not peel off later.

......before, but I would not recommend direct drain. The washing machine hose must extend up above the flood rim of the washing machine before entering the drain. If not, there is a possibility of sewage backing up into your washing machine.
So bacteria dont spread and u get sick
about 30 to 45 minutes.
I would suggest asking for references for your contractor. You should also research the company online before starting work.

First, what are you acid washing? Most surfaces require the acid be neutralized with a TSP prior to adding any sealants or primers.
