about 15 minutes. depend on hich ype of fish. if its tilapia then 15 minutes. i you dnt cook fish well then you will get tapeworm.

Fish fries very quickly and is often overcooked, especially since it continues to cook after it is removed from the pan. The rule of thumb I have seen is to allow 10 minutes per inch of thickness for fresh fish. Assuming you are cooking average size fillets rather than frying a whole fish, that means only a couple of minutes in a deep fryer, and even fewer per side if you are frying in a skillet. As soon as the fish starts to turn from clear flesh to opaque, its close to, if not ready, and its safer to remove it from the oil early, let it sit for a few minutes to continue cooking on its own, then test it for donneness with a fork to see if its flaking.How long it takes to fry fish will depend on the heat applied and the size/thickness of the piece of fish. It should take around 3-5 minutes on each side to fry fish.

fish is nice because you can just look at it and see if it is cooked. it will change colors. when the fish has gone pale or white (whitish) all the way through it will be cooked.

there is no set time this will take. the size of the piece of fish will determine the time. but as long as the color changes all the way through that's when fish is cooked.

Fish cooks very fast when it is steamed. You should put at least three inches of water in the pan; bring it to a rolling boil. Turn the burner down to medium heat;add the steamer section to the pot with the fish in it. Check the fish after three to five minuted..longer period of time for thicker filets. Fish is done when it flakes easily with a fork.

A fish is done, but not overdone, when the flesh is opaque throughout, and a fork gently pulls the flesh away from the center bone. This is the most reliable test for determining if a fish is done.

It depends on the quantity of mussels, the size of the pot and such. 2 pounds of mussels in 4 liters pot should take between 5 and 10 minutes, after that you should discard any unopened ones.
