As usual, that depends how fast you go. In general, you can divide distance by speed. However, in this case it is a bit more complicated; with current technology, the spacecraft won't go in a straight line. Rather, it will use the speed of Earth, and speed up a bit more, to go into an elliptical orbit around the Sun, which touches both Earth's and Mars's orbits. Half of such an orbit takes about 9 months.

Of course, it is possible that in the future, improvements to rocket technology - perhaps better ion drives - manage to go in a more direct route, and to get there faster.

Between 7- 9 months and three years depending on the relative positions of the Earth and Mars in orbit using current rocket technology.
The time it takes for a Space Shuttel to get to Mars is 8 months

Nobody has ever gone to Mars, but it would take around 6 months to get there.
