Yes, over their long history the Romans had several rebellions. Two of the most famous were the slave rebellion of Spartacus and the Boudicca rebellion in Britain. Julius Caesar himself led a rebellion when he started the civil war against Pompey. The military rebelled against several emperors too.Yes, over their long history the Romans had several rebellions. The Romans described Boudica as tall, and fierce, with long red hair, no mention was ever made of her weight.
Because Boudicca and the Romans had a difference of opinion. Her husband was a client king of Rome and living under Roman law. When he died he willed half of his kingdom to Nero, the Caesar at the time, and the other half to his wife. However because of Roman law a woman could not inherit,(except for a small restricted amount) from any husband or male relative. When Boudicca went to try and claim her inheritance, it was denied, she got nasty and so did the Romans. They flogged her and raped her two daughters.
Well, there were many people affected by Boudicca. They were mostly affected by the fights & wars that Boudicca used to have with other countys and countries. Does anyone know how long people were affected by Boudicca?!?!?
There were no Romans in the Battle of Hastings. They had long since faded into history. This decisive battle in 1066 won by the Normans. It was fought between the Norman, William the Conqueror and an Anglo-Saxon army led by Harold Godwinson.

Hannibal Barca of Carthage.
It isn't that they didn't like it, the Romans allowed freedom of religion as long as you showed respect and worship to the emporer and the Roman gods. When the early Christians refused, the Romans were hostile. Also, the Romans believed that Jesus would lead a revolt against them, because that was what the messiah was fortold to do.
