Hi,
We have been married for six years and no kids. We both brought our own houses before we met and eventually I lived at her house and tenants lived at mine. I contributed to her mortgage and additional expenditure. About five years ago I became sick with no job/income then sold my house and gave all my belongings (£20k) to her whereby she covered the mortgage etc. Fifteen months later I started to work however she still covers the mortgage/council tax etc. Last year she put her house into the market and said its hers and nothing to do with me. I queried this at the Registry Office and she is the owner/registered proprietor.

Can I have the right to include ownership and if we separate/divorce then she sells the house, can we split the proceeds ?
