Not too long. Cheese contains milk so you can't leave it warm. I would say if it was past room temperature for more than 45 minutes to an hour and half it probably shouldn't be eaten.
Figure on only an hour. At that point, it should be re-heated or refrigerated - unless it has been consumed.
