Because more energy goes through it, you pay more and you get more result.
AnswerA 100-W lamp has a lower operating resistance than a 40-W lamp. Since power is equal to the voltage squared divided by the resistance, for a given voltage the power will be higher and its operating temperature (therefore brightness) will be higher.
The brightness of the sun is equal to 3.846×1026 Watts. This is equivalent to about 3.846×1024 100-Watt light bulbs (which is equivalent to about 3.846 septillion 100-Watt light bulbs, or 3.846 million billion billion light bulbs, or 3,846,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 100-Watt light bulbs).
----
Our sun's brightness is 3.839 x 1026 Watts (see Wikipedia: Solar Luminosity).
A 100W bulb is 1 x 102 Watts - so our sun is 3.839 x 1024 times brighter.
We'll call this 4 x 1024 times brighter, to make it easy.
And that's a '4' followed by 24 noughts - 4,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.
(Okay: so there shouldn't really be commas between the 000's, but it does make it easier to read and is unambiguous.)

Previous answer: "4 quadrillion times"
Unfortunately the word quadrillion has two meanings: the short scale (aka 'American usage') value is 1 x 1015, and the long scale (aka 'British usage') value is 1 x 1024. The long scale is becoming increasingly less popular, particularly in English-speaking countries. It would be more usual to use the short scale name for 1 x 1024, which is septillion. Better still, just use 1 x 1024.
None
Sun is rated 5100K
Incandescent light is about 2800K
U cant make lights bulbs that much brighter
U can buy flourescent lights rated that high
Watts doesnt transfer to brightness
You would need a solar panel witch can provide 100W or more of a power. So if you were to use 10W solar panels you would need 10 or more, or you can use only one solar panel that is rated 100 watt or above.
The power radiated by the Sun is 3.828 x 1026 watts.
That is 3.828 x 1024 times more than a 100 w lamp.
The Suns output is 3.846×1026 watts
Which equals 3,846,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 light bulbs
The sun is said to give off 384.6 yotta watts (3.846×1026 W), so that would be 3.846x1024 100 Watt light bulbs
One kilowatt hour.
There is no direct conversion . . . different types of lamp bulbs put out different amounts of light per watt.
Osram bulbs are high quality compact fluorescent bulbs that help to your home save energy and money. Osram bulbs are extremely safe to use as they have passed many safety regulations.
This depends on the wattage of each bulb. If each bulb is, say, 100 watts, you can power ten thousand bulbs. To calculate for your own bulbs, divide 1,000,000 watts by the wattage of each bulb.
Total resistance decreases:1/R(total) = 1/R1 + 1/R2 + 1/R3Assuming each lightbulb has the same resistance: R1 = R2 = R31/R(total) = 1/R = 1/R + 1/R = 3/RR(total) = R/3Before the bulb was added:1/R(total) = 1/R + 1/R = 2/RR(total) = R/2R/3 < R/2

Yes, ordinary light bulbs are rated in terms of luminosity (which is generally understood as a measurement of brightness) AND voltage AND current. And physical size AND type of base (screw in, bayonet and which size?).There are many parameters that a light bulb can be rated by.
If all the bulbs are connected in parallel, and there is enough current, yes, the brightness will be the same. The voltage (which is the amount of energy in every charge), remains the same for all bulbs
If your batteries were in series the total voltage would be 6 volts, and it the bulbs were in series you would need a resistor to keep them from burning out. In order to know how many ohms the resistor would need to be you would have to know the wattage of the bulbs, or the resistance of the bulbs. If you don't know the best thing to do is use a variable resistor. Then you can adjust it or the brightness that you want.
ummm...4(?) is this a trick question?
Brightness Reef has 518 pages.
If you used them simultaneously, probably around 1.46 million 60Watt bulbs.
The word bright has one syllable. It is pronounced BRYT.
It is difficult to know, however you would certainly be safe to add the wattages of smaller bulbs to equal the bulb that was originally there. There are now led bulbs that consume less than 1 watt, 3 and 7 watt chandelier bulbs are quite common.
There are many bulbs on a vehicle, need to know which bulbs you want to change.

1 Lakh Incandescent bulbs.
A 150 lumen red LED will be as bright if the tail light lens is red. A 220 red led will be brighter than a regular 1157. The colored lens will make a white led bulb not as brighter due the filtering affect it has on the light wave lengths. A white LED replacement would have to be 400 lumens to equal the 1157's brightness.
