1987 4.0liter Firing Order.
Happy to help. Engine model wasn't specified and there are two possibilities for 1987. Here are both:
Firing order for 1987 4.0 litre 6 cyl engines:
1 5 3 6 2 4...
First check fuse under dash. Then check voltage to blower motor. Then replace resistor under glove compartment. Then move to switch behind dash panel. Then blower relay if no voltage.
The gauge sensor is on the rear driver side of the cylinder head, look behind the valve cover bolt. The sensor for the computer screws into the thermostat housing on the front of the head.
