Z-type drugs like Ambien, Sonata & Lunesta and benzodiazepines like valium and Xanax are generally far safer in overdose (by themselves) compared to older sedatives like Seconal, chloral hydrate.
When people die of an overdose of Ambien there are usually other drugs present. Case reports of Alcohol, Soma, valium as combinations.
People have gone into a coma with as few as 20 10mg pills & died with 90-300
Ambien overdoses can be easily reversed with IV flumazenil.
If someone took 300-400 mg of Ambien, they may overdose and die. If the person is taken to the hospital quick enough their stomach could be pumped and potentially live.
I am assuming you mean "Ativan". Taking normally prescribed amounts of both would not cause an overdose.
alcohol
I believe Cetirizine IS an antihistamine. And it would take a pretty large amount to overdose. MAOI drugs should not be taken with an antihistamine though because it can cause serious drug interactions I hear. But to answer the question- YES it is possible to overdose and die on any drug if enough is taken.
yes
50 mg
im 15 and i can take three, if that helps
I downed 50 & woke up in hospital
An overdose of both substances is possible. While a PCP overdose could certainly prove fatal, an overdose of LSD is very rarely fatal and would likely cause only an extremely unpleasant and overwhelming altered state with anxiety and panic.
about 20 pills of 50mg.
It is safe to take Ambien for a long flight if you have trouble sleeping while travelling or if you need help adjusting to the difference in time zones. However, because Ambien can have side effects such as making you confused or cause you to do things while in a half-sleep state. It would be safer to take Ambien for a long flight if you have someone accompanying you.
i don't think it'd be an overdose. it would just make you sick. mixing drugs like that isn't a good idea.
As much as it takes to kill you. That amount will always be fatal.
