If you have a recipe that tells you what size cake pan it will require, take a pan this size, fill it with water, and then carefully transfer the water into the number shaped cake pan. This will show you whether the recipe is the right size for the number shaped pan.
A 15 by 11 inch cake pan will make a sheet cake. This size of cake should serve at least 60 people depending on the size of the pieces that are cut. Smaller pieces may serve up to 90.
You can make a cake ball in any size you prefer. A cake ball is cake in the shape of a sphere. Usually you would make them in a round cake mold. they are delicious and FUN!
You really don't need to change the recipe. The only thing I would suggest is baking the cake with duck eggs (if you can find them) instead of chicken eggs because they make the cake hold better. They make the cake less crumbly or unstable. Hope this helps. :)
you should make your stand 3 ft. otherwise, make it 4.
Depends on the size of pan you make it in
I think The largest cake on record is up to 40,000 square feet. I do believe that Buddy Valasrto can make that size of a cake. :)
It the pan is too small for the volume of cake mix, it will overflow and make a mess in the oven during baking. If too large, the cake mixture would spread out and you would get a wider, but thinner cake. The proper size would (hopefully) produce a cake of the right size and thickness - and would be a credit to the cook! Also, knowing your oven and its quirks is a great help too.
It depends on you! I eat half of a slice of pound cake every day and it's the perfect amount for me. It soothes my sweet tooth and doesn't make me feel gross.
That's difficult to answer because a sponge cake is very light and a pound cake is very dense, so you really need to indicate the size of the cake to get a better answer.
You should bake your cake at 160/fan or 180/for an other oven. The cake needs about 25-35 minutes depending on the size.
There are no exact measurements. The wedding topper should be a few inches tall (6 inches is usually a pretty good height). The cake should meet your needs. A small wedding of 100 people might only need a cake one or 2 tiers (layers) high, while a wedding triple that size might need a cake that is 6 or 7 tiers high.
