Sam Raimi directed three movies with Tobey Maguire playing the role- but Marc Webb has directed a reboot with Andrew Garfield now playing the role. It is going to be followed by two sequels. So there should be six movies in all.

∙ 11y agoOfficially, there have been five Spider-Man films created. This includes the 1977 made-for-tv film, Spider-Man 1, 2, and 3 directed by Sam Raimi, and the 2012 Amazing Spider-Man directed by Marc Webb.

∙ 10y agoSpiderman, the well-known comic-book Superhero, first featured in a full-length film in 2002. Since then we have seen the launch of Spiderman 2 and Spiderman 3. These have been followed up by a reboot, named The Amazing Spiderman in 2012, bringing the total number of Spiderman films so far to a grand total of four.
