Guerrilla activity in postwar Germany was of NO military significance. Some sources claim that a total of 700 Allied soldiers (American, British, Soviet and French) and pro-Allied Germans were killed in the period 1945-47, but these sources strike me as unreliable. There's a huge song and dance about a pro-Allied mayor who was allegedly killed, but one moment it's said to have been the mayor of Aachen, the next moment it's supposed to have been Bremen and so on ...
