Two atoms in one molecules of O2
6.02214×1023 molecules (Avogadro's number)
seeing as how oxygen is a diatomic molecule; there are actually twice this number of ATOMS (as asked in the question)

It would depend on the size of the container, and how much, if any, it was compressed. I hope others can improve this answer. Whoever said that because it was a gas it didn't contain any atoms, well lets just say they don't know the difference between a hole in the ground and a body part on their backside.
Technically all elements contain one atom, the atom of the element itself - in this case, Oxygen. In nature Oxygen is one of 7 elements that is diatomic, and so will usually be found as O2, containing two Oxygen atoms. The element oxygen exists in nature as a diatomic molecule, O2, containing two covalently bonded oxygen atoms.
There are only two atoms in oxygen gas.
There are no iron atoms in oxygen. Oxygen is an element in itself so it can not be complicated by another element unless it becomes a molecule of something else. Usually iron that has been mixed with oxygen can be form an iron oxide.
none, since hydrogen is a pure chemical element consisting of only hydrogen atoms.
Oxygen is an element. Gaseous oxygen (the kind in the air you breathe) is called molecular as it consists of two oxygen atoms (O2).
Oxygen is an element. The oxygen in our atmosphere typically combines with itself, as does the nitrogen, forming a diatomic molecule--O2. So the two atoms in a molecule of oxygen would both be oxygen atoms.
Oxygen is both a compound and an element. In nature, Oxygen forms bonds with itself to form a compound consisting of two elemental oxygen atoms to form one compounded oxygen molecule. This is O2.
Zero. Oxygen is an element.
Oxygen is an element in its own right, so it only contains one element: oxygen.
C6H12O6. Six carbon atoms, 12 hydrogen atoms and six oxygen atoms.
2 oxygen
Quartz consists of silicon and oxygen (2 times as many oxygen atoms than silicon atoms).
None. Calcium is an element.
Because they are all the same type of atoms. Oxygen is an element. If you have 10 oxygen atoms, they will all behave like oxygen, since they are the same element.
oxygen is an element. It is made of only atoms. So I guess 1, since 1 oxygen atom is 1 oxygen atoms. However, it has 6 protons and electrons.
2 Carbon atoms, 4 Hydrogen atoms, 2 Oxygen atoms
Oxygen.

2 atoms of oxygen joined togetherBy mass, oxygen is the third-most abundant element in the universe, after hydrogen and helium. At STP, two atoms of the element bind to form dioxygen.
