Well it's not exact for every tea... but I just looked at the calories on your basic store brand tea bags and its 100 calories per tea bag, and I always make a pitcher of tea (2 quarts) I like to use 6 bags so thats 600 calories and half a cup of sugar (not very sweet) thats 387 calories so a 2 qt pitcher of tea has 987 calories. which is 64 ounces so its 15.42 calories per ounce for tea I make at home. and for your question it would be 185 calories for 12 ounces of tea.
