If you have a knew injury that keeps you from jogging or other sports, a mini-trampoline is often a way to cushion the impact.
Trampolines are often considered a better way of exercising than treadmills and other forms of gym equipment, this is because they require the use of more musles and they are more enjoyable.
As strange as it sounds, you should not exercise on a trampoline for more than 5-10 minutes at a time! In fact, even an olympic athlete would find it hard to do so for this length of time.
Of course, kids can 'bop about' on a trampoline for hours.
But proper trampoline exercise raises your heatbeat immensely, burns three times more calories than jogging and exercises very single muscle and cell in your body!
As a coach, we are instructed to time trampoline participation (particularly in Adults) to ensure fatigue does not effect the trampolinist. A tired out trampolinist is in high danger of making a mistake and hurting themselves.
If you are asking the question for weight loss purposes, just 10 minutes a day is enough exercise to make a dramatic difference to your weight loss goals.
it depends on howlong you spent doing it, your weight, and your intensity level. (how hard it was.). you can look it uo on web md. they tell you how many calories you burn doing a variety of activities. all you have to do is put in your weight, the activity you did, and how much time you spent doing it. it most likely wont have jogging on the trampoline, but you can alwys look up jogging or jumping on the trampoline and get a close answer to the amount you burned. if you look up plain joggging, you can know that you most likely burned a little more than it says because using a trmpoine uses a lot of energy. (calories>) goood luck. :) P.S. if you are trying to lose weight, i recomend you use the scarsdale medical diet. look it up on Google if you want and it will tell you what to eat for each day. i lost lots of weight on it! you lose an average of a pound a day on it, and up to 20 pounds in 2 weeks! it's pretty easy, too, if you have the food on hand. (you should probably go food shopping beforehand.) by the way, if you think you're too young for this, im 14 and it worked for me-so it works fine for teenagers too!!! :) GOODLUCK :D
Just jumping on a trampoline is exercise because you exert a lot of energy after jumping for a few minutes straight and the longer you jump the stronger your leg muscles will get
as long as you want I'd say at least 20-30 minutes to drop weight.
the longest time is 23 hours
Instructions: Perform each move for two minutes, then go straight on to the next. Try to minimize breaks in between exercises to keep your heart rate up.
1 Bounce Down
How to: Stand in middle of trampoline with feet slightly wider than hips distance. While trying to keep head at same level, jump and tuck knees up toward your chest, making sure to spring off whole foot, not just toes or heels. Land back on the mat. Swing arms in opposition for counter balance. Continue for two minutes.
2 Jumping Jacks
How to: Start with feet under hips in the middle of the tramp. Jump legs out so feet land outside shoulders, arms extended to either side. Hop feet together and cross arms in front of chest. Try to keep head at same heigh the entire time by bouncing down instead of up. Continue for two minutes.
3 Scissors
How to: Start with feet under hips in middle of tramp. At the same time, hop one foot back and the other foot forward to land with slight bend in knees, hips square. Quickly reverse leg position, and swing arms back and forth for extra momentum. Continue for two minutes.
4 Ski
How to: Start with feet wider than shoulders. While keeping torso facing forward, jump feet together on one side of tramp as you swivel lower body until hips, knees, and feet face toward opposite front corner of tramp. Quickly reverse the movement by bounding to the other side of tramp. Swing arms in front of you with elbows bent for extra oomph. Continue for two minutes.
5 Surf Twist
How to: Start with feet shoulder-width apart (and keep them that distance throughout drill). Bounce down while you rotate body a quarter turn in one direction, use the rebound to return to start and then repeat. Switch sides after ever two twists and swing arms in opposition of body as counterbalance. Continue for two minutes.
Hope it helped!
