There are four candles in the wreath and one large one in the center.

The four candles include three purple ones ("Bethlehem Candle", "Promise Candle" and "Shepherds Candle") and one pink candle. The center candle ("Christ candle") is white. On Christmas Eve all red candles are put in to replace the other candles and are lit all day.
