This depends on what species you are talking about; for a human, haploid gametes produced by meiosis have 23 chromosomes.

A plant cell with 12 chromosomes undergoes normal mitosis. What is the total number of chromosomes in each of the resulting daughter cells?

12 cells

What will a nucleus with 46 chromosomes that undergo mitosis produce?

A nucleus with 46 chromosomes that undergoes mitosis will produce two daughter cells. The identical daughter cells will have 46 chromosomes each just like the parent cell.

A cell with a diploid number of 20 undergoes meiosis. this will produce?

It will have 4 daughter cells and 10 chromosome per daughter cell because the number of chromosomes you start with is doubled and then divided by four.

A cell with 10 chromosomes undergoes mitosis?

Both daughter cells will also have 10 chromosomes.

When your cell undergo mitosis how many chromosomes do the new daughter cells have?

46.In humans, the only cells that divide by mitosis are ones with two sets of chromosomes, called diploid cells. They have 46 chromosomes, and the daughter-cells have 46 as well, because mitosis preserves the chromosome number.

How many chromosomes will the daughter cells have in mitosis?

2 chromosomes

If a cell has 32 chromosomes prior to the S phase and undergoes mitosis followed by cytokinesis each new daughter cell will have how many chromosomes?

two or four it all depends on sister and daughter chromosomes during the mitosis procedure about half the amount

If a diploid cell containing 28 chromosomes undergoes meiosis how many chromosomes will each daughter have?

In mitosis, the daughter cells each have the same number of chromosomes as the parent cell.

In Mitosis if a cell has 16 chromosomes how many chromosomes will each daughter cell have?

It depends on the process: mitosis or meiosis. If the cell is dividing through mitosis, then the two daughter cells will have 16 chromosomes; in meiosis, the four daughter cells will have 8 chromosomes.

How many daughter cells are produced from on cell that undergoes mitosis?

two diploid daughter cells

How many chromosomes do daughter cells have mitosis?

It depends on how many chromosomes you have before the cell goes through mitosis. For example if you have 12 chromosomes after the cell goes through mitosis and breaks into two cells you will end up with 12 chromosomes in each cell and it will continue the same way on and on.

How many cells are formed at the end of mitosis?

Mitosis is the cell cycle phase wherein the cell nucleus chromosomes are separated. After mitosis, two identical cells will be created.
