How many concentration camps were there in the Holocaust?

[Edit]

Answer

About 160.

Many concentration camps had many sub-camps, most of them labour camps that only functioned for a short time. Hence some of the discrepancies in the numbers. Note also that many lists do not include early concentration camps that operated for only a few months in 1933-34.

The list below from the German-language Wikipedia is very good.
