How many countries are in the Arctic region?

Answer:
There are 8 within the Arctic Circle: USA, Canada, Iceland (national waters), Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark (Greenland and Svalbard Territories) and Russia.

However you may consider up to 14 in the 'greater arctic region' which extends to the +55 Degree Longitude line and includes other European Countries.
