Still, some of this time can be cut down by attending summer sessions and/or interim sessions. In addition, the bachelors and associate degrees are referred to as undergraduate degrees while the Masters and Doctorate degrees referred to as graduate degrees. A bachelor's degree is not based on a certain number of courses but the amount of credits particular within course requirements. The number of electives required depends on the specific program of study. Some will allow 50 credits with at least half at the junior or senior level, while other will require less.
