That all depends on how "carnivorous" an American is. It could be upwards in the millions, especially if that American ate a lot of Hamburgers and steaks of beef that came from various different steers or heifers.

This is no where near right. 1 steak or burger would be like 1/100 of a cow. Even if someone ate nothing but beef for every single meal, the amount of cows probably wouldn’t even hit triple digits.

How many calves can a cow produce in her lifetime?

A cow can have anywhere from one to 20 calves in her lifetime, depending on how productive she is and how long she is able to stay in the herd to produce those calves. How many times can a cow have calves?

A cow will have a calf once a year. If she goes for longer than that she gets culled. In her lifetime, well that depends on how long she lives. Heifers become cows when they calve at around 24 to 30 months of age (depending on the breed), and the average cow lives to 15 to 20 years of age, so that mean a cow will have 13 to 18 calves in her lifetime. Of course that's just average, since a heifer or cow can be culled at any age if she poses any problems, productive-, temperament- or health-wise.
