In my experience, a student must have at least 60 semester hours prior to classification as a Junior, but this varies for each institution and major. For example, if you were in a Nursing progam, they may require you to complete additional requirements prior to becoming a Junior. Example: You must take an additional Science and Labm, giving you 64 credits rather than 60. I've seen this requirement be as high as 72 for specialized programs. A Senior is generally 90+ credits (30 credits per year)
The following is particular to colleges and universities that operate on a regular two semester academic year.
Twelve is the minimum to be full time. Most students take 15 hours a semester, but as a freshman it is highly encouraged to take only 12.
i believe around 8. 4 credits for one sem. and another 4 credits for the 2nd sem.
12
What you need to do is see how many total credits you need. Get your calculator for this, and divid them by 4! For instance, my degree program is 180 credits long. I would need 90-135 credits to be a Junior. Past 135, I am considered a senior until I hit the 180 mark.
You need sixty college credits.

25
You need 20 credits. But at CHSAS and selective schools, you need 28
you would need eleven to be a junior
youu need at least 11 but you should have 12
It depends on the program you're taking at community college. It also depends on the university requirements. For example, Im getting an Associate's in Liberal Arts and transferring to Eastern (which takes 62 credits upon transfer).
