Rather than thinking about it in days, you should have a good understanding of the 'heat' process. while she is bleeding she wont be receptive to a stud dog and possibly even be really grumpy with him, depending on your dogs breed and size depends on how long or soon it takes for her menses to change from blood to a clearish fluid, once she has clear fluid its her time and you can introduce the stud, however may I suggest that before any does anything with a stud that you do an awful lot of research about how it would to look after a pregnant bitch, what her dietary requirements are and what can go wrong, it would simply be irresponsible to bred anything without any idea of how to do it properly. Most breeders will tell you that you wont make money from breeding, you will cover your costs sometimes.
