Xanax is a short acting benzodiazepine, but is fat soluble and will reside in the body for quite some time. If you were not using it regularly and did not take a lot, you will probably have too low of concentrations in your body for a drug test to detect. If, however, you have been using it for quite some time, there is a chance it will show up, potentially up to a week after taking the last dose.
