The weave of the fabric, and the thickness of the thread or yarn varies for each product. You can find very fine, soft, yet tough bedding, and the stronger, corded fabric used for pants.
There are four main types of raw cotton; namely American Upland, Egyptian, Sea Island and Asiatic. From these plants, cotton is processed into an almost endless variety of fabrics.
