It varies a lot by unit. For example, a doctor in an intensive care unit (ICU) can see less patients since they require a lot of care , research and time. A doctor assessing patients for military admission can see many more patients since they don't need to prescribe meds, follow progress, talk to the families, etc. It's just pass of fail.
