There are 5,280 feet in a statute mile or approximately 6,076 feet in a nautical mile.

Addendum

While historically the nautical mile was defined as a minute of arc along a meridian of the Earth, the International Extraordinary Hydrographic Conference held in Monaco in 1929 adopted what is now the universally accepted definition of a nautical mile as "1852 metres exactly." (6076.1155 feet)
