None. Fluid ounces and pounds are incompatible units. There is no conversion factor. (You wouldn't ask how many inches are in a pound, would you?) The fluid ounce is a unit of volume, whereas the pound is a unit of weight.

16 fluid ounces of water at 4 degrees C equals one pound. For any other liquid at that temperature you must divide by the specific gravity to find the number of ounces. For example, with Mercury, it would be slightly over one ounce.

16.666 (repeating)

A fluid ounce of water weighs .96 avoirdupois (dry) ounces.

Formula:

16 oz (lb) / .96 fluid oz = 16.666

.96 fluid oz x 16.666666666 = 15.999999999 (round up to 16 oz = 1 lb)
