How many gallons of water does an average American use in a day?

Answer:
Average AMERICAN: showers, flushes, brushing teeth, cleaning clothes, washing dishes & cars. A true average includes people who water lawns AND water wastage.

It also says:
"MILLIONS OF THE WORLDS POOREST SUBSIST ON FEWER THAN FIVE GALLONS"

One person uses about 15-42 gallons of water everyday it just depends how long the person takes in the shower etc.
