How many life jackets were on the Titanic when it sank? |
[Edit] |
As many people as there was on the ship but some people wouldn't even put them on [those people were mostly men] and they were called life protecters.
The water temperature in the North Atlantic meant that they provided only momentary protection. Without rescue vessels on standby, they probably had only ten minutes added to their lifetimes.
