If this is for flooring linear feet may be established with just the length of 15' x 4". If flooring is being sold by the linear foot the width will already be established by the flooring you choose. Most come on a roll that is 10-12 feet wide. If it is the parameter measurement that is needed, just add the four sides. It is not a bad idea to just round inches up to feet and add.(16+16+9+9= 50') Feet can be converted to inches by multiplying by 12 and then adding the four sides. Feet would then be found by divided that answer by 12. The answer will be about 48 feet.
