Australia has one (at the start of 2008) just 4 Winter Olympic Medals. Two Gold Medals, and two Bronze.
(Unconfirmed) The Gold medals were for Mens Speed-skating and Half-pipe Snow-boarding.
Gold medalists for Australia at the Winter Olympics are Steven Bradbury in 1000m speed skating (2002) and Alisa Camplin in aerial skiing (2002).
Bronze medals were won by Camplin in aerials (1998) and Zali Steggall in slalom (1998).
