Minimum of 41:
3 squads (Sqd) of 13
1 Platoon Sergeant (Plt Sgt)
1 Platoon Commander (Plt Cmndr)
Sqd = 3 Fireteams (FT) of 4 + 1 Sqd leader
FT = 1 FT leader, 1 Rifleman, 1 SAW gunner, 1 Assistant SAW gunner
There can be a Guide, position somewhat similar to Plt Sgt but it is a billet below him. Each platoon will also have a Corpsman assigned to them (Navy personnel, not a Marine)

In order to fail marine boot camp you have to know you can do what ever they throw at you and not much if you are out of shape they put you in physical conditioning platoon (pcp) but you don't want to be here it will take you longer to graduate
Unfortunately, not much. My college transferred only 3 credits for Marine Corps boot camp.
Some recruits fall out even before getting to boot camp. They DEP in and get scared and dont end up going. My platoon graduated with about Half of what we started with. Most are either medical drops or washouts. Medical drops are recruits hurt and need treatment, and get droped back in training to another company. There are also alot of wash outs who should have never been there in the first place.
Marine Corps Boot Camp lasts for 13 weeks.
None. Unless you graduate during a time of war, in which you get the national Defense ribbon.
Marines train for 13 weeks in boot camp and then go to the school of infantry for a while and then get their MOS training at special Marine schools. So I would say about a year.
187 acts made it to boot camp.
There are some great workout DVDs based on boot camp exercises. I'd recommend "Crunch - Boot Camp Training" and "Jay Johnson's Bootcamp Fitness". Many gyms also offer a boot camp inspired training program.
There are many exercises that are done at a fitness boot camp. Examples of exercises done at a fitness boot camp include dynamic stretching, running, pushups, situps, and interval training.
I have seen many boot camp videos on plenty of sites and stores. I have seen them at Wal-Mart, Netflix.com, or Blockbuster. There are plenty of boot camp videos out there, just go to the fitness section or the movie section.
There are a couple places where one could go to view videos of the Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon. For instance, YouTube and the official Marines website offer many videos for the Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon.
Navy boot camp is quite hard and results in many dropouts. It is purposely designed to be difficult to weed out those who will not perform well at their duties.
