There is no real limit on an engine. The only "limit" would be one imposed by a lease agreement, something around 10-12,000 a year.
Most gas engine cars can easily reach 200k+ miles if properly maintaned before needing major reconditioning. Diesel engine cars can probably double that, the motor anyway.
Depends on your cars mileage, tires, and how well your engine runs.
1997 galant has 390 thousand miles same engine kept timing belt change and use 10-40 sythic oil
25
70 miles an hour
td5 engine if serviced regular how many miles should it do
55 miles
It would depend on the maintenance and care the engine has had. I can tell you that our fleet consisted of many retired police cars most of which had 100K plus hard miles when we received them. It was rare to lose an engine. More commonly the transmission would fail.
About 150
That depends on how well the vehicle is maintained. 100 to 150K miles before major engine refresh is not out of the ordinary with the new cars. However , is you do not maintain the unit don't expect to get good service out of it.
Most modern cars will run 250,000 miles or more.
ive seen cars with 350,000+ miles
