Amps and volts measure different properties of electricity and are not interchangeable. Voltage is a measurement of the electrical pressure needed to push current in Amps through the wires. Milli is an abbreviation for one thousandth of the unit.

The answer is 0.001.

assuming you are converting between watt/volt and milliampere.

You can view more details on each measurement unit:

watt per volt or milliampere

The SI base unit for electric current is the ampere.

1 ampere is equal to 1 watt per volt, or 1000 milliampere.

milli amps is related to the charge moving and volt is related to the energy applied to make the charge move i.e, the electrons to move. so the volt applied cant have a linear relation with volt

Volts and amperes measure different electrical qualities. Volts is a measure of energy supplied. Since this is in Home Electricity you are probably using 110 volts. Amperes is a measure of current or draw of a device. They are not equivalent.

"Volt" is the unit of potential difference between two points ... the 'pressure'

that makes electrons want to flow from one point to the other.

"Ampere" is the unit of electric current ... the rate at which electrons are

actually moving along the path.

The two units have different physical dimensions, and are used to measure

different quantities. Neither one can be converted into the other one, any

more than you could convert your age to gallons..

A (milli)ampere is a unit of electrical current flow in fundamental units of (milli)coulombs per second. A volt is a unit of electric potential difference in joules per coulomb. The two units are not directly convertible without some intervening information, such as resistance. Please restate the question, as it is invalid.

0 - infinite.

VA = V*I = volts times amps (a measure of power)

milliamp = current = I

what is V?
