toxic dose of aspirin?

A toxic dose would be something like 300-500mg/kg

Death has been caused by Aspirin overdose. It takes a lot when you are an adult but a young child could easily ingest 13 of the 325mg capsules before you know it and there you go.

ibuprofen can kill you, but it would be a LONG, VERY painful death. And I'm not just trying to scare you, either, a doctor told me that. He said that it would cause liver failure and you would die slowly, in very severe pain, over a period of a couple of weeks. See the Related Link below.

It is important to know how much of a medicine is considered lethal. For aspirin over 150 mg per kilogram of body mass is considered toxic, 300 kg+ per kg of body mass is considered lethal.

Maximum dosage of Aspirin or Acetemenophen is 4000 mgs per day. Any more than that and you are dancing with the chance of damaging your liver or cause internal bleeding.
