The Mint family is very large and includes such things as citronella and catnip. Mints themselves have recently undergone a popularity that has gardeners' heads spinning. There where 20 or more mints listed in one of the catalogs I received last spring. Most of them with mint and something else flavours. (such as pineapple-mint, chocolate-mint, apple-mint, mojito-mint) the list goes on and on with new cultivars added every year. I would not venture to put an exact number on them.
