The length of a shark's teeth depends on the type of shark. The largest living shark, a whale shark, has teeth that are relatively small, even tiny. The smallest living shark, the dogfish, also has tiny teeth, while the great white shark has teeth the size of about 36 mm, or 1.43 in. But the largest shark to have ever lived, the megalodon, could grow teeth longer than seven inches long.
Sharks are constantly shedding and regrowing their teeth. Over a lifetime they can lose and grow up to 50,000 teeth.

Which of the other 500+ species of shark are you comparing it to? The Tiger Shark is the fourth largest shark alive today, the three largest are the Whale Shark, the Basking Shark and the Great White Shark. These are decided by the largest recorded specimen, and though the Tiger Shark has the fourth largest recorded length, on average the Greenland Shark grows to a greater length than the Tiger Shark
The Whale shark - the biggest of all shark species (they're the size of a schoolbus), have tiny, primordial teeth - most shark experts believe they are useless, and that whale sharks are plankton and krill eaters.
I'm not for sure what you mean but if a shark loses a tooth it takes 24 hours to grow back.
New teeth grow to replace those the shark has lost, Because it has back up rows of teeth behind those that it loses. Sometimes they can have up to 5 rows of teeth at one time! From what i understand about sharks is that they (unlike humans) continue to make teeth throughout their lifetime. Tiger sharks included.
