There are Warrant Officer's too, but I couldn't find an accurate count.
I hope this helped
this question is ectremely vauge...but just like any other branch of the military the number of people that hold each rank varies heavily on skill, recomendations, ect. But generally the ranks that have the fewest holders are the higher ranking officers, suck as generals, colonel, lt. colonels, etc. And private , PFC, L. Cpl, and the other "lower" enlisted ranks make up the bulk of the Corps. hope this helped. Aaron B. U.S.M.C. Enlisted Poolee I leave for basic June 28, 2010

It is the enlisted rank of pay grade E-3.
Military pay grades are based on rank, so it varies.
Major is the higher rank.
It depends on your rank. Each rank is assigned a Pay-Grade, and each Pay-Grade recieves a different ammount of money. Each equivilent paygrade across the 4 main uniformed branches in the US makes the same. So a E5 in the Army, Navy, Marines, and Air Force would make the same.
