Babies are clever. They eat when they need and as much as they need. Given they are healthy.

Don't 'pump' your baby. Its not a duck you have to fatten up.

If there is a problem the baby will not stop crying and won't eat.

Time to take the baby to the doctor.

Our child had a rare development problem, one in several million:

there was an extra 'sack' connected to the small intestine. When he started to eat solid, the sack filled up and blocked the intestine.

He still could ate milk but often threw up after eating solid. He slowly become malnourished. The throw-ups were masked by flue and cold symptoms. Took over a month to realise, something is seriously wrong.

I have never cried as much as I did while waiting for the 4 hours operation. I'm his dad.

He is 13 now and healthy as.
