A person doesn't need meat- they need protein. Current recommendations on a 2000 calorie diet call for 65 grams of protein a day, but this doesn't need to be derived from meat. Egg whites and soybeans are excellent non-meat sources of protein. When you do consume meat, choose sources that are lower in saturated fat and cholesterol and higher in omega-3 fats. Lean chicken, turkey and high omega-3 fish such as salmon are all good choices.
Humans do not need any meat in our diets. In fact, it is very unhealthy.
Typically people need around 60 g of protein a day. Even more if you train with weights regularly. You don't need meat to get protein.
It's not the number of servings of meat that is important. It is the amount of protein in the diet that is important. Protein can be obtained from many sources. It can also, just as easily, be obtained from combining non-meat foods such as rice and beans (legumes), and the like. Most of the world's population still obtains the majority of protein from a vegetarian-based diet, with little or no meat added in.
Anywhere between 40 to 75 grams of protein daily is sufficient, depending upon
body size and requirements based on activity levels, etc.
You don't need to consume any meat. Humans have no biological need to consume the flesh of other animals. Unrefined plant foods have all the protein you need. If you eat vegetables, legumes, whole grains, seeds, and nuts, you will be getting a complete amino acid profile. You do not need to combine them in any special way.
This depends on how much you need to eat but if you want the answer I suggest you look it up on a health website such as health.com.
