∙ 15y agoThe oxygen level in a red blood cell varies depending on the location of the cell. If the cell just gave off oxygen to the organs, the level is low. If it just went through the lungs and got oxygen in exchange for carbon dioxide, it becomes rich in oxygen.

∙ 15y agoI'm afraid that this question may have confused you, as Red Blood Cells do not actually carry any Blood at all. This is because Blood is comprised of Red Blood Cells. The answer to your question is simply that Red Blood Cells carry no Blood, instead they make up Blood itself. Red Blood Cells Carry Oxygen.

∙ 14y agoWell, the air that we breathe in is not entirely made of oxygen but consists of many other gasses that we inhale such as hydrogen. There is approximately 21% oxygen in the air so when we inhale we will roughly inhale that much (location depending). But in relevance to your question, it all concerns how much oxygen your lungs push into your blood stream but you will never get the full 20-21% of oxygen into your blood because of your respiration using some of it.

∙ 13y agoi dont think they contain it, i think they carry it. they transport it around the bbody. Well the blood does need oxygen and nutrients to even be able to carry the blood so it contains blood and carries it.
